Finding myself "middle aged" has been a real challege. Life is as good as it's ever been, yet I often find myself wondering what to "do with myself next." I spent nearly 20 yeats teaching as an academic in universities, and in the public sector as well. I now manage my husband's office. (He's a psychologist who works primarily with traumatic brain injuries.) I've had the amazing experience of being an "at home mom" with my now eighteen year old, Abby. Yet, now that's she's just started college, I realize how fast the precious time as flown. Seems that it can't be all that long ago that we were all starting college ourselves.
